Today’s music post comes all the way from the UK X-Factor. I just loooove this version of Take That‘s “Rule The World” – Ella is flawless – at only 16 years old! Watch her performance below :)
Playlist: Ella Henderson – Rule The World
Playlist: David Guetta ft. Sia – She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)
I’m kinda over the whole dance craze, every song on the radio sounds the same. Catchy and most of the time stupid hooks about DJs and dance floors. I mean, really? But anyways – I love Sia and her voice and that’s the reason why I like this song.
It’s a shame she needs someone like David Guetta or Flo-Rida to get on the radio, she could do it all on her own in my opinion. A friendly heads up – the video has a little bit of nudity at the beginning and end. Enjoy this song :)
Favorite Things Thursday
The Leirvik bed frame from Ikea. This is the bed I’ll be getting this year!

There are 43 days left until I go to Las Vegas
44 days until I get to see the Grand Canyon!

Red pandas – they are the cutest!

And lastly, this song is pretty much my jam rn. No shame.

On my playlist: Kelly Clarkson “Honestly”
I’ve been putting off listening to Kelly Clarkson’s new album, just based off the very mediocre single “Mr. Know It All” – awful choice if you ask me, sounds a lot like Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” in the chorus. The rest of the album is the good ol’ Kelly we know and love. I’ve had it on repeat in my Spotify, especially the song “Honestly” — listen below!
On my playlist: Birdy
I was recently introduced to this lovely lady’s songs – an amazing voice for a 15 year old. Check out the video for “Shelter” below – if you were watching The Vampire Diaries last Thursday, you may have heard the song playing in the background. Just a little *fun fact ;)
What do you think?
ROBYN LOVE! <3
Robyn‘s rescheduled Chicago show @ The Riviera Theater went on as planned last night, on Valentine’s Day. The weekend dragged so finally getting to the show was an accomplishment. Unfortunately, this time around I didn’t get to be up close – the theater was PACKED with gay men and their FAB t-shirts, glitter beards, glow sticks and more.
Needless to say, Robyn killed it. She was so apologetic and grateful we came back to see her! I would have loved if she switched up her set a bit more, it was almost exactly the same as previously in October – she opened with Time Machine, also sang Call Your Girlfriend, Get Myself Together and Stars 4-Ever from Body Talk PT 3 – and I don’t need to tell you she danced like a mad woman. The fabulous fembot being that she is. What illness? No signs of it…

I was tad annoyed with the people in front of me that didn’t seem to move one bit, to any of the songs. It amazes me how I’m always stuck behind the tallest people there. How can you not dance?!
I hope she comes back to do a festival again in the Summer, it would be killer. My request: In My Eyes

BTW – we really need a studio/acoustic version of U Should Know Better, she sang it before and I love how it sounds all stripped down. Snoop could get on it too ;)
I know the Robyn high can last a week’s-worth … so I’m trying and cope … gonna be a long day.
Play it loud on Thursday
Happy Thursday! Today’s Play it loud is Robyn’s Stars 4-Ever, it’s one of my favorite songs off her last album of 2010, titled simply Body Talk. So it happens I just made this song my cellphone ringtone, I’m excited to be seeing her next month and CANNOT wait! Enjoy :)
Unconventional Christmas songs
Organizing and listening to my new favorite song from Erik Hassle, just in time for Christmas.
I just love love looove it and his voice :)
Official video for Lykke Li’s “Get Some”
This video’s a little weird … good weird. She’ll be in Chicago in May … kinda tempting…..
