This Monday has been a blur for me, next thing I knew I was on my way home – in another snow blizzard. It wasn’t so bad, but come on – no more snow! I’m just counting down the days until Friday – I have the day off to drive my mom to the doctor and back — and the Robyn concert is just right after that!!!! I’m so excited to see her again. Should be fun fun fun! Yay :D
I’m a little behind on my Year of DIY stuff (yikes) so I’m going to share some cute news on the pooch. My brother sent me these pictures/videos of her today. She cracks me up – you can tell she’s thinking hard how to see over the huge mountains of snow haha
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow after work, bleh – I might have another one scheduled for Saturday morning, I don’t know if that’s gonna work out. My sister’s birthday is also on Thursday, crazyness – still no gift ideas… handmade all the way. Just what!?
OK well I’m peacin’ out – about to watch Pretty Little Liars… lots of TV love lately :)
Little weekend shopping

Happy Sunday, can you believe it – it’s snowing again! But yesterday was sunny and warm-ish, I hanged with my mom and grandma all day. We went to IMAX and I finally watched a movie in 3D … can you believe that! I was actually pleasantly surprised :) after that, we hit the mall and looo and behold — I shopped!
I didn’t get all these items yesterday, they kind of collected these past couple weeks. So I figured I would just show everything at once. My sister still has my D60 so these pictures were taken with my little Nikon :)
1) This dress from Forever 21, I just can’t wait to wear it. 2) Brownish dress from H&M, I love that fabric. 3) I’ve had my eye on this sweater since I saw it last month… yay patches! 4) Plain black “silky” top from Target, picture doesn’t do justice :/ 5) not new, blue Volcom pants I’m gonna wear on Friday to the ROBYN concert!!!!!
Last week I finally got the maxi skirt I wanted, I splurged on this Pendleton/navajo print sweater – it’s sooo comfy!
Holy crap do I look tall in that! :)
The day is still young and I have a couple DIY-ish things I want to get out of the way to post this week, see ya!

It’s here! I don’t quite feel like I’m done with this layout but certain little missy requested to have it up already so there ya go! haha It’s kind of a Spring / all the time / Valentine’s themed :)

EPIC SNOW: Very Unprepared

With the “storm of the century” creeping up on us, Ill be heading out to the store to stock up for tonight and tomorrow! Our fridge is extremely empty…as you can see. Can’t get snowed in without any coffee or creamer …I’ll never make it! I’m actually looking forward to the blizzard and taking advantage of the day off it has brought me!! Hopefully I can catch up on some posts and more organizing from the move…pics to come!! Stay warm xo

Coincidentally I’ve been making the biggest list of DIYs this weekend and today I found this surprise in my mailbox – who could it be from?!
I am officially declaring this year the year of DIY. I am putting my foot down and will DIY like a mad woman even if I’ll lose sleep about it (and I’m not the kind to skip sleep.) I promise you lots of crafty posts and I’m soo excited about it, I hope you’re not disappointed :)
But now to the business of things – the announcement of our giveaway winner!

I started printing some test cards for our shop — and that sounds really weird right now!!! It’s a lot of hard work, I’ve already made a few changes to these designs and I’m trying to work out the differences between various styles. It’s a little messy at this moment…
Maybe setting a dead line for myself wasn’t such a good idea, but I’ll make it work!

What a dirty dog! Viki desperately needed a bath and on Saturday she got just that. Ever since she was a little pup, being wet made her super crazy and excited, running back and forth with any random toy she could grab. Well she’s no different now. Here’s the little munchkin playing with a plush bone.
These were taken when she finally calmed down, it’s really hard to snap a picture when she’s zooming from room to room! I got her a new $1 squeeky toy and can’t wait til she sees it!

Back for more!!! This is the first Hazel’s Closet post of 2011 :)
I made a few small additions to my overflowing closet and made a couple outfit changes so look out for more pix during the week. The photos below show myself wearing a romper from H&M, a blazer from Target and yes … that is our giveaway necklace! You can enter up until January 16 so go on!!!
I’m crazy about the print on this romper and it was on sale! Yay :)
