I think it’s no secret everyone loves layers for colder months. It’s officially down to 48 degrees around here and wearing too much or too little can be tricky. I’m all for comfort and these outfits are just to die for, bright colors and cute touches of patterns, sign me up!

The Halloween decorations are in the air… I’m feeling very Halloween-y this year for some reason, decorating here and there. I’m using my Silhouette cutter to cut out shapes and make garlands plus various other decorations. I’ll share those soon, but for now these are some projects and ideas I’m really inspired by right now.

I got tagged by Ann for this “Liebster Blog Award” but I’m not sure what it is exactly since the Internet (aka Google search) knows nothing … but I had nothing else to do right now so here goes nothin’!
What motivated you to start writing a blog?
Freedom of the Internet? I’ve been a part of many online communities throughout the years, I think I built my first website when I was 14 or 15. Then was Livejournal and my own domains, etc etc. And now we’re here on this blog/online space/thing-a-jig where I post stuff that I like to make and share other things I like.
Quick you only have 10 minutes before you have to be out the door! What are you HAVE to dos?
Get dressed is hopefully somewhere on that list, can’t leave the house naked. In all seriousness, I’m one of those people that has to check all my keys, wallet, pack up my bag and then leave. I really don’t rush these days.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I really have no idea but hopefully happy and healthy :)
What is one of your favorite bloggers?
I follow a looooooooooot of blogs on my Google Reader. A lot. A ton. Picking just one is too tough. It’s going to be Under the Sycamore …… Kelli Murray, Rockstar Diaries, and Sincerely Kinsey, The Daybook … and probably all these too.

TEA. (I’m drinking tea right now) I have never had coffee in my entire life. Truth.

I think I like both equally! I’m no Julia Child though.

I know nothing about makeup and there isn’t one thing that I buy all the time, so I don’t have one!

What is one of your current goals?
I really don’t know. I’ve done so many things I wanted to this year it’s hard to think of anything else. Is “my goal is to vacation” a goal?
If you could change your name to be anything would you? What would you change it to?
I would not! I’ve had a love-hate relationship with my name being ‘weird’ and not ‘American’ so people couldn’t pronounce it – I mean throw a W in front of a name and people’s mouths make the weirdest noises, geeze. I love my name now :)
Well that was it, I might take a TV show watching break – I just got hooked on Revenge!
Handmade pom pom garland for Fall!

Decorating for Fall has been really fun for me this year. I’m hoping to throw in a few more Halloween-y touches here and there, orange and black is a good direction, right?
I’ve seen these cute garland cutouts and might give it a shot!
I thought I posted this but looks like not. I made this pom pom garland with bright colors for above my bed. Using a pom pom maker has been so fun and easy, I might have to create a pom pom garland for every holiday because these things are addicting!

Happy Hump Day! It’s been an odd day but in a good way, I’m enjoying some tea right now and watching Youtube videos. I’ve been sucked into the UK X-Factor and really think the talent is out the roof. Probably more excited about it than the US X-Factor… it’s a little slower and I haven’t seen someone that really jumps out at me yet. I’ll wait and see of course. I sure love Simon and the addition of Britney and Demi is interesting, better than expected actually.
Anyways, it was a tad chilly today so I took out this comfy sweater, I bought it few weeks ago and just loved the pink heart, paired with the polka dot pants from Target. Can’t go wrong with that!

The days are getting colder and it may be a little soon to take out thick hats and gloves, but while at Target, I couldn’t help and get distracted by all the new and cute items. I had to restrain myself though I might have to give in and buy some of these gloves. Below freezing anyone?
