Adventures in quilting
“Making a quilt” has been on my list to accomplish for this year and since it’s November I’m cutting in kinda close. I picked out my pretty fabrics and will cheat just a little bit by making a pillow instead.
I may be getting ahead of myself thinking I can just sew this thing without any instructions but I’m going to try. It seems fairly easy and straight-forward, cutting shapes and sewing them together. Wish me luck!

Snapshots
Happy Saturday, it will be a sunny relaxing weekend and I may be catching up on some shopping and reading. I’m currently sucked into “Divergent” by Veronica Roth, it’s so soo good!!

I’ve been working on new jewelry and things. Hoping to get some of these goodies starting next week :)

Snapshots on a rainy Wednesday / Q&A
I got tagged by Ann for this “Liebster Blog Award” but I’m not sure what it is exactly since the Internet (aka Google search) knows nothing … but I had nothing else to do right now so here goes nothin’!

What motivated you to start writing a blog?
Freedom of the Internet? I’ve been a part of many online communities throughout the years, I think I built my first website when I was 14 or 15. Then was Livejournal and my own domains, etc etc. And now we’re here on this blog/online space/thing-a-jig where I post stuff that I like to make and share other things I like.
Quick you only have 10 minutes before you have to be out the door! What are you HAVE to dos?
Get dressed is hopefully somewhere on that list, can’t leave the house naked. In all seriousness, I’m one of those people that has to check all my keys, wallet, pack up my bag and then leave. I really don’t rush these days.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I really have no idea but hopefully happy and healthy :)

What is one of your favorite bloggers?
I follow a looooooooooot of blogs on my Google Reader. A lot. A ton. Picking just one is too tough. It’s going to be Under the Sycamore …… Kelli Murray, Rockstar Diaries, and Sincerely Kinsey, The Daybook … and probably all these too.
Instagram? Love or Hate it?
Definitely love it – @helloweronika
Coffee or Tea?
TEA. (I’m drinking tea right now) I have never had coffee in my entire life. Truth.
Cooking or Baking?
I think I like both equally! I’m no Julia Child though.

Favorite makeup brand?
I know nothing about makeup and there isn’t one thing that I buy all the time, so I don’t have one!
What is one website you are always on?
Probably HootSuite (to view my Twitter feeds) and 9gag.com
What is one of your current goals?
I really don’t know. I’ve done so many things I wanted to this year it’s hard to think of anything else. Is “my goal is to vacation” a goal?
If you could change your name to be anything would you? What would you change it to?
I would not! I’ve had a love-hate relationship with my name being ‘weird’ and not ‘American’ so people couldn’t pronounce it – I mean throw a W in front of a name and people’s mouths make the weirdest noises, geeze. I love my name now :)
Well that was it, I might take a TV show watching break – I just got hooked on Revenge!
Fall is in the air
Random snapshots
These pictures were taken with my 50mm lens and I think I’m getting the hang of it and plan on using it for almost everything.
Anyway – I have a page long to-do list, mainly small steps I can cross out as I go. One of them is updating the Etsy shop as I started last night. Today I’m assembling new necklaces and doing the little tedious things like cutting out triangles and hole punching. Handmade is no joke! :)

Goodies from RCF
Renegade seemed to zoom by this weekend. It was the fastest 2 hours of my life. Honestly. I wish we could have stayed longer but due to max 2 hour parking we cut it really short. I was missing my partner in crime craft.
Since they closed up the Renegade Handmade shop right on Division, I feel like the fair really got a boost. There were a lot more variety of crafters and even a vintage bazaar (which, of course I missed) – I loved looking at everyone’s stands and displays. Funny seeing the people behind the shops you’ve been stalking following on Etsy!
Until next year I suppose, if anyone has a time machine let me know ;)
